    Feature-rich and cost-effective, yet requires a learning investment

    Apollo-io offers excellent features for managing email sequences, integrating with HubSpot, handling accounts and contacts, and more. It gives me access to a wealth of contact information that would be more expensive elsewhere, making it the best value for my money. However, if contact data is a priority, I find it challenging to find information for all necessary contacts, especially for smaller businesses. Most of the data comes from LinkedIn, so if a contact isn't there, they won't be in Apollo, which can be frustrating. The software is highly customizable and feature-rich, but this can lead to a steep learning curve and require a significant time investment to set it up and integrate it as needed. I switched to Apollo from Seamless.ai because the latter was frustrating to use, only searched a few prospects at a time, and lacked the sales enablement features that Apollo offers.

The software is packed with numerous beneficial features that can be overwhelming initially, but once mastered, they provide immense value. At this point in my startup, it's crucial to constantly engage with new people, and the ability to send 1k emails monthly to test engagement across various roles and industries is priceless. Apollo-io boasts the most comprehensive and richest B2B database I've ever encountered. I plan to update this review in a few months once I have more data on my campaigns.

    I have had a 99% positive experience with Apollo across two different companies. In fact, I was the one who recommended Apollo to my current company. I brought up Apollo during my first interview with my manager and was informed on my first day that they had purchased Apollo based on my recommendation. What I appreciate about Apollo is its capability to manage prospecting, lead generation, email outreach, and dialing out all in one platform. I primarily use it for my own outbound email outreach and to generate lists of new leads for our SDR. She also utilizes it for email outreach and some dialing. However, I believe that Apollo could enhance its activity tracking when it comes to integration with HubSpot. I previously used it with Salesforce at another company and it was straightforward to push activities to Salesforce, but it seems a bit less intuitive with HubSpot. The reason I switched to Apollo was its ability to perform both prospecting and outreach in one tool.
