Off to a Promising Start with Cal-Com
I find Cal-Com beneficial for our team. Unlike Forecast, only those with access to Team Cal and the assigned employee can view the schedule. This ensures privacy, but also means others working with the employee wouldn't know their schedule unless they asked or were granted access. I like that it syncs directly with the employee's calendar, allowing them to see their daily tasks and helping us avoid scheduling conflicts. The software is user-friendly, particularly the drag feature. However, I think it has room for improvement. As an interior design firm, we have many recurring tasks, and Cal-Com is not as fast as other programs like Forecast. We have to input the project and description each time, and if we drag the task through the week, it places the task at the top of the Google calendar instead of in the employee's daily calendar, which can sometimes confuse employees.

This software, Teamcal, has been a real time-saver for me at work. It integrates with Google Calendar and offers a clear schedule view, which is especially helpful as scheduling meetings for multiple people on Google Calendar can be tricky due to its lack of a scheduling view - something that Teamcal provides. The software displays each person's calendar in a row, making it easy to see when someone is free. It's a straightforward software that delivers on its promises. However, I believe it could be improved with the addition of project management features.
