Amberscript: The Pinnacle of Audio to Text Transcription Software
I've been on a journey with audio to text transcription software for years, always keeping an eye on its evolution and even investing in programs that didn't quite hit the mark. I've always had faith that one day, it would reach its full potential. And now, it has! With Amberscript, I find myself doing minimal editing, and it's rarely because of a mis-transcribed word. This is even the case with audio that's over a decade old! Most of my editing is simply to tailor the punctuation to my unique speaking style, not to correct the content. I couldn't be happier with this software. Without a doubt, this is the best transcription experience I've ever had.

Such a Time Saver!
I decided to use Amberscript to transcribe my interviews for my master's thesis and it saved me so much time! The automatic transcription isn't perfect due to overlapping speech and accents, but with a quick 3-minute review for minor corrections, it's definitely worth it to save several hours of manual transcription. I highly recommend it!

Appears Easy, But DOES NOT FUNCTION!!!!
I find Amberscript to be a great tool to start with as uploading is really simple. However, I have issues when starting to transcribe as additional speakers are added even when there's only one, which messes up the whole process and is really annoying. This happens almost every time. Also, when I try to convert it into subtitles, sometimes the subtitles completely disappear or get stuck at some point, forcing me to redo everything. This has happened twice.

Efficient and Nearly Perfect Accuracy.
Using Amberscript saved me a lot of time. I utilized its automatic translation feature. Despite having to edit for about 3 minutes due to the conversational nature of the audio, it was still a good deal for 1.5 hours of content. However, it failed to recognize certain English words commonly used in Dutch conversations, which could be improved.

However, I sometimes face problems when interviewing non-native English or German speakers as their pronunciation isn't always recognized by the software, which appears to be trained by native speakers. I suggest training the software in "Conference English" or "Conference German" for improvement.
