Top Cloud Suite for Mid-Sized Businesses Seeking Comprehensive Solutions
I highly recommend our management system, SAP Business ByDesign, for any company in need of a multi-functional ERP for 10 to 999 users. The product is incredibly user-friendly and comes with ready-to-use mobile applications. It has all the necessary pre-set functions for a midsize company, including project management, contract management, field service operations, manufacturing, accounting, finance, built-in analytics, AP, AR, inventory, CRM, SRM, and supply chain. It's a well-packaged product with a great vision, scalable from 10 to 999 users. It's robust, stable, and has been around for over 12 years, benefiting from SAP's 42+ years of experience in ERP Suites. Although I would prefer tighter integration with other SAP products, we can now use the SAP CLOUD PLATFORM to connect everything and utilize RPA functions. I chose SAP Business ByDesign for its robustness, ease of use, functionalities, and SAP CLOUD and SAP HANA capabilities.

Simpler than Standard SAP Software
I believe SAP Business ByDesign is satisfactory but requires enhancements in performance and features. It's simple to install and offers numerous applications, coupled with a user-friendly interface. It provides decent finance features, but it falls short when compared to SAP on-premise due to its limited features and scope. I've observed that other cloud solutions outperform this one.

Using SAP Business ByDesign has made tracking daily activities for our multi-department company easier, improving our efficiency. It has made our workflow processing and bill allocation smoother. However, I wish it allowed users to delete workflow notifications they've uploaded when needed.

Transforming Operations with SAP Business One
Before, I didn't have a system to monitor production costs, repair costs, and material movement, and there was no link between transactions. SAP Business ByDesign is the best ERP system I've used. It has many unique features, but I especially like the Relationship Map and Query Generator. The Relationship Map simplifies understanding transactions by showing their connections, which helps in decision-making. However, it's not possible to get item-wise costs in production. I chose SAP Business ByDesign because it's cost-effective and has appealing features.

SAP ByDesign - Overly Complex and Disorienting
I find SAP excellent in creating tasks, offering numerous modules, a robust cloud system, document flow, and personalization. However, I feel SAP ByDesign seems to have been developed by people lacking accounting knowledge. VAT returns don't show dates or supplier/customer names, only displaying ID references, journal red, and other references except what I need to see. I can only view these in another report after completing the VAT return. Payment runs and customer statements are also confusing, generating reports that I must accept without seeing what's inside, assuming that everything I input is correct. I find it very cumbersome, with too many processes for simple tasks. Overall, I find it a very confusing system!

I implemented SAP ByDesign across our companies, which unified our system and enabled both local and global reporting. The support from the gold partner was excellent and the system improvements were consistent. This reliable cloud-based ERP software is adaptable and perfect for managing multi-company, multi-country, multi-currency businesses. Our teams worldwide can access live data across various departments. The software is flexible in its implementation and has web services that enable it to communicate with other systems if necessary. However, there were occasional minor back-end issues that took some time to resolve. The CRM module and app were not user-friendly and lacked features compared to other systems. We integrated our SAP ByDesign with Hubspot CRM. We chose SAP Business ByDesign because it had all the functionality we needed and was suitable for an SME.

Effective Solution for Small to Mid-Sized Businesses
Overall, I was quite satisfied with SAP Business ByDesign. I perceived it as a progressive product that brings efficiency to small businesses. However, I feel there needs to be more training to fully leverage this ERP system. I appreciate SAP's effort in creating an ERP system for small and mid-sized businesses, which often grapple with disorganized documentation and financial systems. This ERP system greatly simplifies these tasks. Similar to Business One for larger companies, it provides everything necessary for smaller businesses. I was able to easily manage orders, track invoices, and oversee my budget with account receivables and payables. The reports were also very handy. However, like the Business One system, I found it required additional time to manually input data, particularly at the start. All data needs to be inputted for the CRM system to function efficiently, so skipping this step means not utilizing the CRM system to its full potential.
