Adored it, yet there's room for improvement
My overall experience with Dell Boomi has been largely positive. I value its ability to integrate with ERP systems without requiring advanced programming skills, and it has notably enhanced the performance of many of my projects in a short span of time. I mainly use Dell Boomi for reporting and find it very user-friendly and straightforward. Its compatibility with other apps is excellent, and the range of connectors and development tools available is impressive. I also find the threat protection feature very beneficial. However, I do have some reservations. The cost may be too high for some users, and the debugging process could be simplified. It's also not compatible with Excel, and the logs it generates don't provide sufficient information, which can be an issue when trying to troubleshoot system problems. Lastly, I find the documentation to be insufficient.

My partnership with Dell Boomi has been extremely positive. They are always available, responsive, and eager to help. They consider our feedback and improve the product, which is exciting. The interface is user-friendly, making design, programming, and future updates easy. Its design allows for component re-use, saving us from starting from scratch or going through extensive code for changes. Boomi also has an impressive user community that has been a valuable resource for problem-solving. However, I think there should be more built-in features to reduce the need for custom scripting and SQL writing.

I highly value the Boomi platform for its ability to allow me to create robust integrations quickly and with little to no code. Its exceptional community and inherent Salesforce support made it my preferred choice. I was able to replace our previous middleware with Boomi ahead of schedule, using fewer API calls and improving performance. However, I desire more flexibility in the pricing model regarding endpoint usage.

I've been using Dell Boomi for the past 3 years and I absolutely adore it. The Boomi community acts as a knowledge bank, ensuring all solution needs are fulfilled. I've also been a Boomi champion, aiding numerous developers in improving their design and development skills. Throughout my IT career, I've used many integration tools, but Boomi has been the most enjoyable and interesting to design with. Its user-friendliness is exceptional and any developer would appreciate it. Anyone with a basic understanding of Integration can learn it quickly. However, it does lack some features such as easy-to-use audit logs and the ability to lock extensible properties changes when making modifications post-deployment.
