Effortless Navigation with Multi-User Access Anywhere
The enterprise team was excellent in helping me with the setup and has been supportive with any subsequent questions. I previously used the desktop version, so the transition was seamless for me. I wasn't a fan of QBO as it lacked the features I needed, which were available in the desktop version. Therefore, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise was the perfect solution for me, offering accessibility from various locations and for different users. However, saving a file onto my computer rather than the enterprise "computer" was challenging. Also, unless using the program that came with my computer, it seemed impossible to send emails. I chose QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise because QuickBooks online didn't provide the options I needed for non-profit pastoral source deductions. After speaking with several help desk representatives, it was clear I couldn't get what I needed. The desktop version had this option and by using Enterprise, I was able to solve all my problems. I switched to QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise because I wanted access from other locations and for multiple users.

I had quite an interesting experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise's customer service. I had the opportunity to speak with multiple representatives, each one eager to assist me. I spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with a representative who, despite not being able to resolve my issue, was patient and attentive. Then, I was transferred to another department, where I had the chance to interact with another representative. This representative, although unable to assist me directly, suggested I reconnect with the original representative, showing their commitment to finding the right person to help me. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach the original representative, but this led me to start the process again with a different representative. It was like a thrilling ride, going through the cycle, and it was fascinating to see how each representative had a unique approach to my issue. It was a testament to the diversity and dedication of the QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise team.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise has resolved nearly all of my company's accounting issues, including budgeting, bill payments, reporting, and tax preparation. I particularly value the budgeting module, which lets me monitor my income and expenses and offers a comprehensive overview of my company's performance. I also appreciate the software's ability to integrate with other vendors' software. The pricing is excellent, particularly for small and emerging businesses, and it's very user-friendly. I haven't encountered any crashes, bugs, or hang-ups so far. However, the software does lack some modern business features like barcoding and lot tracking. I'm also not a fan of the limit on the number of users. I wish it had the capability to generate other types of reports, not just accounting ones. While it's great for small businesses like mine, it becomes difficult to use as the business expands. I chose QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise because it was affordable and suited the size of my company.

Latest QB Desktop Enterprise Update (12/223) Review
The latest update (12/223) to the QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise app is terrible. They've removed the invoice categories and the date the invoice was sent from the viewing screen. Now, I have to open each invoice individually to confirm the date sent. Adding a payment is also a hassle as I need to open more options on each invoice to find this feature. They've made the most trivial options viewable but not the important ones. They've also removed the option to use the old version and instead, I'm being charged $3 to use it without any say in the product. I manage over 2 companies using the Enterprise desktop version and the constant mandatory updates, user lockouts, and issues with desktop outlook are frustrating. Their top-tier support doesn't have any solutions either. It's really upsetting to feel so dependent on a tech company.

Recently, I encountered a minor hiccup where a payment was under review and I was told it would take 5-7 days to be released. Although it was a bit of a surprise, I appreciate the security measures QuickBooks takes to ensure all transactions are legitimate. While I was hoping to have the issue resolved sooner, I understand that these processes take time. I even recommended this service to my customer, who was also impressed by the robust security measures. Although it's a bit disappointing that our workers might receive their pay a little later than expected, I'm confident that QuickBooks is doing everything they can to ensure our financial transactions are secure. I've read other reviews and it seems like QuickBooks is consistently committed to maintaining high security standards. I'm looking forward to continuing to use this service and I'm excited to see how they continue to improve and streamline their processes.
