In my view, Moz provides excellent SEO tools, particularly beneficial for experienced technicians. While beginners can use other tools, Moz's subscription options still offer great value. Their customer service is outstanding, going above and beyond to assist customers, even refunding an accidental subscription contrary to their Terms of Use. Even without a subscription, Moz offers plenty of free learning materials for SEO beginners.

I've used the premium package of Moz Local and found great value in its local SEO tools, particularly the local listings management. The alerts for edits to our local listings have been very useful. I've also used their reputation management tool to boost our online presence. Overall, Moz Local has yielded positive results. However, I wish I could respond to reviews directly from the dashboard. I chose Moz Local over other similar software due to its analytics and reputation management tools. I appreciate the vendor's response to my feedback and am eager to see improvements.

Experienced the Free Trial of Moz Local and Then I
I tried the free trial of moz-local but realized I didn't need the service. I forgot to cancel the trial and was automatically charged for a paid subscription. However, when I contacted the MOZ team, they were very responsive and understanding, and promptly refunded me. This level of customer care is unfortunately not always common these days, so I was very impressed with the MOZ team.

Moz Local: Not My Preferred Choice
I find Moz Local user-friendly and easy to set up projects with. However, I believe it lacks many features compared to SEMRush and has limitations on projects and scans, which I frequently encounter. I switched to Moz Local because of its cost. The vendor responded to me, asking for more detailed feedback and wishing me luck in all my SEO endeavors.

Fantastic Free Resource
I absolutely adore this free tool! It has made a significant difference for my parenting blog. Even though a paid plan is necessary to fully utilize the Moz SEO tools, I've managed to maximize the data I can gather on ranking keywords using just the free tool. This data has had a measurable positive impact on the performance, traffic, and ranking keywords of my posts over time. However, figuring out how to configure the different options for the segment of your ranking keywords you're looking at can be challenging, as being limited to only 50 in a given category can be frustrating. Especially now that after two solid years of using Moz, my number of ranking keywords has increased from barely 500 to over three times that. But there are ways to mitigate this.

My experience with Moz Local in Canada towards the end of 2021 was disappointing, leading us to promptly cancel that part of our subscription. Despite the software offering valuable data, useful notifications, and task assignment ease, the data for Canada was either poor or non-existent. This was the primary reason we initially opted for Moz Local, but we eventually switched our Moz and Moz Local subscription to SEMrush. The vendor responded to my review in February 2022, apologizing for the data issue in Canada and requested a more detailed explanation of the problem via email.

Excellent Service and Business Integrity with Moz-Local
I tried a trial subscription of moz-local to explore its features. While they were good, they didn't have a specific feature I needed. I thought I had cancelled after a month, but I hadn't, and was charged. When I emailed them about it, they quickly understood and refunded me. I may not be an expert on their technology, but their customer service and business ethics are excellent.

Beneficial Local SEO Tool: Moz Local
Moz Local is a decent tool for local SEO, but I don't find it superior to SEMrush. I prefer using SEMrush for tasks like keyword research and rank tracking, as it provides all these features in one place. If you're solely focused on local clients, Moz Local is a good and affordable tool. I found it helpful for adding clients to local listings, particularly for organizations in the US, UK, and Canada. It's effective for ensuring NAP consistency across the web. However, its effectiveness decreases outside of these countries. SEMrush also offers this feature, and to save time, I prefer using just SEMrush instead of multiple tools. I chose Moz Local because I trust the Moz brand, having used their services in the past.
