As a medium-sized business, I appreciate the extensive employee onboarding resources provided by UKG Pro. It's an invaluable tool for ongoing education and professional growth. It's fantastic to have all the resources our HR department and staff need in one location. Even though I'm not part of the HR team and don't fully understand all its functionalities, I believe its comprehensive coverage is a feature all companies should look for in a software application. However, there have been issues with correctly acknowledging documents and limitations on users' ability to download their own files. The site also doesn't perform well on secure connections. We switched to UKG Pro because we use it to host our required quarterly trainings and monitor all trainings. This gives our organization a centralized, user-friendly site for managing most HR-related questions and trainings.

Experiencing UKG Pro as a Gig Worker
I work for gopuff and everything from trip pay to deposits to scheduling is managed by UKG Pro. I highly recommend it to any company. As a contractor for gopuff, I can vouch for its comprehensive handling of everything from payroll to scheduling. I can view my paycheck, information, and schedule all in one place. It's like having a human resources department in an app, which is extremely convenient for a gig worker like myself.

While I've observed a minor drop in customer service, especially on the Benefit side, I'm mostly pleased with UKG Pro. I've encountered some issues with Time Management and PTO tracking, but I'm hopeful about the forthcoming updates with Dimensions. I opted for UKG Pro as it was the clear choice for me, particularly after a poor experience with the Dayforce product.

Excellent, Affordable Enterprise Solution with UKG Pro
I selected UKG Pro due to its scheduling and labor forecasting features, mobile capabilities, and overall aesthetic. I established a strong relationship with the Sales Manager and was impressed by the pricing and features. Several leaders in my organization were already familiar with the UKG platform. We transitioned to UKG Pro to support our enterprise growth. However, we have not yet implemented the system, so its effectiveness remains to be seen.

Regrettably Disappointed with UKG-Pro
I used to be a big fan of UltiPro and Kronos, considering them superior to Workday or SAP in terms of payroll systems. They were user-friendly and had excellent support, and I didn't need to hire a lot of expensive IT staff to manage my department. However, this is no longer the case. Getting support has become nearly impossible, the user interface has deteriorated, and the product feels disjointed. Simple tasks now take forever to complete, similar to Workday or SAP. It's hard to get in touch with the Tax department and I've had tickets open for months without a response. I feel helpless as I can't make necessary updates myself. I'm approaching year-end and I'm worried about reporting accurately. I don't understand why they removed the ability for users to update taxing jurisdictions. Despite escalating my case, I've received no response. It's a nightmare and given the choice, I would now choose a different vendor. However, I do love the reporting capabilities.

I find the ukg-pro software user-friendly and their customer service is top-notch. I appreciate everything about the company, especially their staff who consistently exceed expectations. They offer excellent retention tools for regular customers and are always receptive to customer feedback. The reporting and BI functionality is superb for advanced users or companies with a dedicated HRIS team. However, for small businesses with fewer than 500 employees, it can be difficult to quickly achieve desired results. I wish they offered simpler reporting like SuccessFactors or ADP, in addition to BI for advanced users. I chose UKG Pro based on the feedback, customer experience, and company values. I switched to UKG Pro because I needed to move away from the PEO.
