Experience Seamless Webinars with Livestorm
I've been using Livestorm for webinars since my company separated from another one that used GoToWebinar, and it's been fantastic. We conduct several webinars a month using this platform. I appreciate that no client/downloads are needed to view or host webinars. We use the "company page" on our website to offer recorded webinars on-demand and capture viewer details to aid our sales process, something we can't do with Youtube alone. I also enjoy the feature of adding speaker bios into the platform. While there are many other platforms to host these, none are integrated with the entire webinar experience like Livestorm. The entire user interface can be branded more deeply than other platforms, providing a more seamless experience for attendees. However, we recently hosted a 16-hour virtual conference that we wanted to record but could only record up to 2 hours with Livestorm. We had to switch to Zoom due to this limitation, which was disappointing as there are many aspects of Livestorm that I prefer.

Plagued with Issues from the Start - Multiple Attempts to Resolve Unsuccessful
I experienced a screenshare issue during my first webinar on Livestorm. The support team suggested using a different browser and resetting some settings on my devices. I tried this in a test webinar and asked if I would need to reset before each webinar. They assured me I wouldn't, but the problem persisted. I also began to encounter audio issues and blurry visuals. I had assumed that all webinar software would be able to display screen, video, and audio seamlessly, but I regret making that assumption. I ended up with 3-4 failed webinars that negatively impacted my potential customers. The support team showed no interest in compensating me for the inconvenience. I'm sharing this to warn other users who might be overly trusting of this company. You shouldn't have to struggle to display your screen, video, and audio flawlessly. The software does have some positive features like nice registration pages, the ability to have multiple moderators, email reminders, and good reporting. However, I had trouble showing my screen on a Mac.

My overall experience with Livestorm has been extremely positive, receiving compliments from all over the world. The software is user-friendly and doesn't require a separate download, making it easily accessible. Setting up webinars is simple and intuitive, and the data dashboard provides a clear understanding of the webinar's success. Livestorm is always innovating and improving, taking into account customer feedback. A significant advantage for me is Livestorm's GDPR compliance. However, being a browser software, it is more susceptible to the speakers' internet connection. Despite this, I've never had a speaker unable to finish their presentation unless their internet was completely down. A simple page refresh usually resolves any issues, but it can impact the user experience if speakers drop off. After thoroughly testing three webinar softwares, I chose Livestorm. It was by far the most intuitive and, being browser-based, it's easily accessible worldwide. As a French-based organization, Livestorm must comply with GDPR.
