Zoom and Webex are very similar. They’re at the same price point, around $14-15 for their cheapest subscription, and they offer very similar deals. Even the free plans have the same limits, 40 minutes for a meeting with maximum 100 attendees.
Both platforms also have nearly identical text messaging features, screen sharing options, and customization settings for meetings.
So for most businesses, you can’t really go wrong with either option. Webex and Zoom are reliable video conferencing apps that do their job well.
However, in our testing and research we found that Zoom is slightly better. For starters, it has over 1,000 more integrations than Webex, which makes it much easier to add Zoom to an existing toolset, or get more out of it with third-party apps.
Moreover, live streaming is available on more platforms on Zoom, and you can do it on the cheapest plan. In Webex, you can only do it with their most expensive plan. If streaming to Facebook or YouTube is important...

Webinar Hosts: WebEx Training Center is stable for enterprise webinars, even with thousands of users. However, the admin part can be clunky and setting different options can be complicated
Business Professionals: These users appreciate the professionalism that WebEx brings to their meetings, both internally and with clients. The software is user-friendly and easy to set up, making hosting meetings easier. It also adjusts automatically for time zone changes, which is beneficial for those who frequently host or join meetings with people across the country
Educators: WebEx is used by teachers for delivering lessons remotely. It's easy to set up and the host can send an invitation to all students who then click on the link and download the app. It's also reliable, but a fast internet connection is required to prevent freezing
Remote Teams: WebEx is ideal for secure and unified cloud communication, offering numerous features that facilitate effective communication with both in-person and remote teams. It has the capacity to host interactive online meetings with strong screen sharing, real-time live chat, HD video quality, and instant messaging support
Dissatisfied Customers: Some users have experienced ongoing issues with audio during client calls and have found the customer service to be unhelpful. Others have had problems with the software's performance on mobile devices, and some have found the cancellation process to be difficult.

My Unwavering Commitment to Webex: A User's Perspective
Webex is like a home away from home for me, it's like the Hotel California: we are programmed to receive, you can sign out anytime, but you never want to leave. Subscribing was a breeze, and it's so good that I've never even thought about cancelling. Even if I wanted to, the cancellation instructions and help link are so straightforward, I wouldn't have any issues. I'm so committed to Webex that I've even considered blocking my credit card from other subscriptions. I'd gladly stand up in court for Cisco Sys, armed with screenshots as evidence of how fantastic this software is!

Overall, Webex feels cumbersome.
I find WebEx Training Center to be stable for enterprise webinars, even with thousands of users. However, there's no communication when the service is down. The admin part is clunky and setting different options is complicated. While it integrates with LMS platforms, the admin options are not thoroughly and properly ordered.

Webex: A Unique and Innovative Upgrade by Cisco
The software, Webex, has been incredibly transformative since its upgrade, which was a brilliant move. The camera feature is so unique, it feels like it's pausing time and I get to appreciate the stillness. It's completely innovative. I'm excited to continue using Webex because it's significantly unique. Cisco really knows how to keep things interesting!

Conduct Meetings with Elegance!
I find that Cisco WebEx has significantly improved the professionalism of our meetings, both internally and with clients. Many people are already familiar with the software, which makes hosting meetings easier. WebEx is incredibly user-friendly and easy to set up, from both an admin and end user perspective. I especially appreciate its automatic adjustment for time zone changes, as I frequently host or join meetings with people across the country. Screen sharing works exceptionally well, without the bandwidth issues I've encountered with other software. The only downside I've experienced is that sometimes when joining a meeting scheduled in my Google Calendar, it doesn't work correctly. I often have to manually enter the meeting ID, attendee ID, and passcode. Despite being more expensive than most, we chose WebEx because of its familiarity, simplicity, and the return on investment we believed it would provide. We switched to WebEx for a more professional look and feel when we migrated from Google Apps for Business to Office 365.

My Webex Experience: A Reliable and Cost-Effective Conferencing Solution
I've been using Webex for about 7 months now and it's been quite a journey! Initially, I had some hiccups with the audio during client calls. But, I reached out to their technical support and they were very responsive. They assured me everything was fine and indeed, with a little patience, the issues were resolved. I was considering switching to a more expensive alternative, but I'm glad I stuck with Webex. Their reliability has improved significantly over time. I even had a conversation with a representative named Victoria who was very understanding and helpful. She clarified some contract details for me, which I appreciated. Webex's customer service really shines through in their dedication to resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. I'm giving it a solid five stars because it's been a great value for the money. I would definitely recommend Webex to anyone looking for a reliable and cost-effective conferencing solution. Remember, patience is key!

Embracing Change and Innovation with Webex: A User's Perspective
I'm genuinely excited about Webex, a company that I believe is committed to providing top-notch services. My school uses Webex as our primary tool for recording our meetings and hosting them on our website. Recently, they introduced a new retention policy which led to the deletion of over 3 of our recordings. However, I see this as an opportunity to upgrade to their new Pro-Plan. Although it's a bit pricey, it offers us the ability to keep our recordings, which is fantastic! Webex has also made some changes to the admin portal this year, simplifying it for a more streamlined user experience. While it's true that the admin account doesn't have access to every recording, I find it quite engaging to manually re-assign meetings to myself. It gives me a sense of control and involvement in the process. Webex is constantly evolving and improving, and I'm thrilled to be part of this journey. It's always exciting to explore what new features and improvements they'll introduce next!
