Less Than Impressed with Cal-Com
I don't particularly like the cal-com software. If I had an alternative, I wouldn't use it. It only displays six weeks in the past and three weeks in the future, forcing me to constantly click the next arrow to see further. The entries are positioned at the top left of each row, making it hard to identify their ownership. They should occupy the entire row. I switched to TeamCal for reasons I can't fully articulate.

Effortless and Beneficial Addition to Your Team
My team and I began using cal-com right away. We briefly tried a more powerful but costly solution, but ultimately came back to cal-com and remain pleased with it. It's easy to integrate and provides a handy swim lane view calendar in addition to Google Calendar. We have no complaints about it, it simply meets our needs. We opted for TeamCal because it's straightforward to use and affordable, making it ideal for our small team of 10-20 users. We switched to TeamCal for the same reasons.

Off to a Promising Start with Cal-Com
I find Cal-Com beneficial for our team. Unlike Forecast, only those with access to Team Cal and the assigned employee can view the schedule. This ensures privacy, but also means others working with the employee wouldn't know their schedule unless they asked or were granted access. I like that it syncs directly with the employee's calendar, allowing them to see their daily tasks and helping us avoid scheduling conflicts. The software is user-friendly, particularly the drag feature. However, I think it has room for improvement. As an interior design firm, we have many recurring tasks, and Cal-Com is not as fast as other programs like Forecast. We have to input the project and description each time, and if we drag the task through the week, it places the task at the top of the Google calendar instead of in the employee's daily calendar, which can sometimes confuse employees.
